Daisy Bartlett brings over 15 years of marketing and sales experience, as chief editor for China’s aviation industry corporation AVIC, marketing manager with Raytheon, where she sold Hawker Beechcraft business jets to high net worth individuals, and marketing director with BAE Systems, where she established the company’s commercial aerospace presence in China.

Dragon Prosperity uses a private equity instrument called a real estate syndication, which is an SEC Regulation D offering. We then partner with investors to raise the substantial down payment necessary to buy large commercial real estate in growing markets, like Texas. Unlike typical crowdfunding, a real estate syndication offers true ownership in the underlying real estate asset. Dragon Prosperity forms and manages a separate LLC for each investment, and each investor owns a percentage interest in that LLC, so you’re not just an investor in a fund, you’re an owner of a business that owns and operates real property.

Most of us know people who invest in single family real estate, but for those with the specialized skills and capital to acquire and operate large commercial real estate, the advantages are enormous, including economies of scale AND how the properties are valued. The economies of scale achieved by leasing and maintaining large multifamily real estate enables us to hire a professional property management company. Commercial real estate, like multifamily housing, is valued based on income, like a business. By improving operations and investing capital in renovations, we increase income, which increases market values dramatically. For example, achieving a $50/month increase in rent on a 200 unit property can increase the property’s market value by $3,000,000.
